In addition to developing and manufacturing our own rapid tests, we also provide our clients with the service of manufacturing specific rapid test components and developing customized rapid tests.
Rapid test components can be purchased as pre-assembled uncut sheets or as a bundle of unassembled rapid test critical membrane components.

Uncut Sheets
|

|
An uncut sheet is an assembled panel of rapid lateral flow test that has not yet been cut into individual strips. The uncut sheets are fully assembled with all the critical components of a rapid test: NC membrane, colloidal gold conjugates, sample pad.

|
The nitrocellulose (NC) membrane is the support medium of the rapid test. It immobilizes the pre-coated antibody at the test region and the anti-IgG antibody at the control region. The NC membrane component is typically 3-4 mm wide and 18-19 mm long.

Colloidal Gold Conjugate
|
|
| |
|
|
Colloidal gold is a sub-micrometer sized particle. Colloidal gold particles are conjugated to IgG monoclonal antibodies’ Fc region via ionic interactions. When this conjugate is captured by the pre-coated antibody, a red line is visible at the test region to indicate a positive result.

Sample Pad
|

|
|
A sample pad consists of 3 layers of membrane. It aids in absorbancy to allow the continuous lateral flow of the sample up the rapid test.
